Radiodrama is a proud tradition and by some regarded as the rolls royce discipline when it comes to radio and audio production. It is the genre that let sound design, acting and narrative come together in beautiful, funny and/or gripping stories. Unfortunately the genre has been suffering a bit over the last decade or two due to the evolution of radio and the lack of economy afforded to it, but the introduction of podcasting and digital audio holds all the right elements to awaken the giant from its slumber. Together with sound designer and director, Mathias Sørensen, and writer, director and producer, Kasper Jacob Sejersen, Søren Brunsgaard, Chairman of Center for Podcasting, will discuss the art form, its peculiarities and potential, and what making drama and fiction to your ears is all about.
