Blended Intensive

Program

Sonic College will start offering BIP.
Short, intensive programmes that use innovative ways of learning and teaching, including the use of online cooperation.

Dear colleagues

At Sonic College we are currently developing a series of Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) projects connected to Sonic Days, which will take place in week 47 in Kolding, Denmark.

Our intention is to run three parallel BIP projects, each focusing on a different area of sound practice. The aim is to attract a diverse group of international students and create a strong interdisciplinary environment during Sonic Days.

The three initial themes are:

  • Immersive Music Production
  • Game Audio
  • Sound for Film & TV

Bellow you will find our BIP catalogue, which presents the overall concept, structure, and the three project tracks.

If there is sufficient interest from partners and students, we may also expand with an additional project, potentially focusing on electronic music and sound art.

Alongside the BIP activities, we also expect to organise an Erasmus+ staff training mobility programme, similar to previous years, running from Tuesday to Thursday during Sonic Days.

While the detailed programme will be confirmed once the Sonic Days schedule is finalised, we encourage partner institutions to already consider this as part of their planning, as it provides an opportunity for teachers and staff to participate in workshops, lectures and networking activities.

Info webinar now available on demand

As part of the development of our upcoming Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) connected to Sonic Days, Sonic College recently hosted an international info webinar for potential partners.

The webinar introduced the overall vision behind the BIP initiative, outlined the three academic focus areas, and presented how institutions can engage—both in the development phase and through student participation.

If you were unable to join us live, the full webinar is now available as a video recording.

Even though the live session has taken place, it is still very much possible to become involved.

We encourage institutions to explore the recording and reach out for further dialogue on collaboration, student participation, or joint development of the programmes.

If you know of institutions that might want to take part, please feel free to share this information.

We look forward to exploring these opportunities together.
