Mixing, Mastering and Synthesis introduces the core areas of audio production: mixing and mastering. The course provides the student with tools to improve in these areas throughout the remainder of their education and ultimately master these disciplines at a professional level.
The synthesis component focuses on the synthetic generation and manipulation of sound, offering a fundamental understanding of synthesizer construction and the components of sound synthesis. It also provides experience in recreating and emulating real sounds as well as effects.
