In this elective course, you will gain experience in planning, designing, and implementing sound for computer games. We will work with a range of key techniques and methods related to the production of sound effects and music for a game production.
You will receive instruction in adaptive music, dynamic mixing, middleware, reward sounds, and the creation of dynamic atmospheres. You will also be introduced to C# programming at a basic level, and we will work hands-on with Unity’s 3D game engine.
The course concludes with a larger individual project, in which you will produce your own computer game.
